Lendrum
Fine Art
is an art consulting
firm based in Los Angeles. Founded by Tiffiny Lendrum, the firm draws
on years of professional expertise, including museum and gallery
experience, and over eighteen years of consulting for developers,
architects, interior designers and collectors. With a commitment
to artistic integrity, Lendrum Fine Art provides comprehensive art
programs for public projects, hotels, corporate offices and private
collectors.
Providing access to diverse artists and extensive resources in the
art community, Lendrum Fine Art guides clients through research,
selection and procurement. Clients are provided the option to acquire
existing works or site-specific commissioned works that closely integrate
the artwork with its environment. The company also contracts with
specialists for framing, appraisals, conservation, shipping, insurance
and installation. Services for hospitality projects include publishing
prints and the design and fabrication of objects unique to each project.
From 2003 to 2005, Tiffiny Lendrum served as a member of the board
of Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitons,
a non-profit contemporary visual arts institution. The twenty five
year old organization continues to provide a dynamic venue for artistic
exploration. LACE is a promoter of innovative art, a supporter of
living artists, and an educator of audiences about contemporary art
and the art-making process.
For fresh stART 2001, Tiffiny
Lendrum co-curated the pioneer benefit exhibition for this organization
dedicated to fundraising for at-risk youth. Founded and directed by Cris McCall, the event was
held at the Santa Monica Museum in 2002 and 2003. Each year, the scope
of the exhibition grows; in 2005 at Arena 1, the show included nearly
100 works of art and exceeded all fundraising goals.
Under the direction of Louis Grachos, Tiffiny Lendrum worked with
SITE Santa Fe, organizing the
events surrounding their second Biennial in 1997. The exhibition was
curated by Francesco Bonami, and the events included a gala dinner
and concert performance by Patti Smith.
Tiffiny Lendrum received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Art History
from Southern Methodist University in 1987. For the subsequent decade,
the museum affiliations and gallery experience expanded to include
the Dallas Museum of Art, Gerald Peters Gallery in Dallas, Elaine
Horwitch Gallery in Santa Fe, and The Annex Gallery in San Diego.
Since 1997, Lendrum Fine Art has been based in Los Angeles.
